The chosen topic for my independent study that i have decided upon is based around James bond as i am a follower of the movie series and have good knowledge of the texts. One of the areas that interests me is the issue of women and if the james bond series confirms Laura mulvey's theory or not. Thats why i have chosen the question, "historically, james bond movies have always confirmed Laura mulvey's theory, is that still the case today", focussing on Casino royale in particular.
