intro- going through some of the stereotypes and what effect they have on society has a whole (example of women, asians..etc)

para1- focussing on women in particular as it seems to be one of the more important stereotypes in the media, looking at specific examples over time ( james bond movies 1960-2008, looking at how women are shown)

para2- This paragraph will be focussing more on the stereotypes of asians and what has affected the stereotypes of asians and how drastically they have changed over time

para3- looking at older texts and what the stereotypes have been adapted in those adverts and movies

para4- looking at more contemporary texts and how they have chosen to represent certain groups of people and comparisons drawn with older texts.

conclusion- summarising the stereotypes and how they have changed in comparison with original stereotypes.
